Meet Emily
Emily is 10 years old and lives in Pittville, Cheltenham. We moved to the centre of Cheltenham in 2006 so that she can meet more people and have fun.
Emily was diagnosed as severely autistic when she was nearly 3 years old. She has been having intensive support for her learning and dietary problems since then and is now a happy child with no physical problems and a growing interest in the world. She has a small verbal vocabulary and enjoys colouring pictures, going shopping(!) and trampolining. She needs to have a lot of fun in one-on-one interaction so that she sees how she can learn from other people. Emily has a special playroom with all the facilities needed for her program.
